19. Highlights of the artistical life:
Ø Started drama career while reading in class 4th by acting in the song drama ‘Napahu Rati Namaru Pati’(Bishnu Das) & ‘Ganga Abhisapa’ (Srikrishna).
Ø While reading in Class 6th acted in the song Drama ‘Janmastami’ (Ugrasena) & ‘Jayadratha Baddha’(Duryodhan)
Ø Acted in village drama group as lead actor & bagged many prizes in Drama Tournament.
Ø Acted in two plays staged during Annual Function of B.O.S.E., Cuttack which influenced me most in my career. Both the plays were directed by Shri Surendra Mohanty in the year 1989 & 1990. I don’t know where he is now. But I regard him as the best director I have come across. The plays are ‘Dhumaketura Akramana’ & ‘Nila Akash’.
Ø After joining NALCO in the year 1992 acted in various drama competitions such as Departmental Drama competition, Inter unit drama competition, State, National & International level drama competition.
Ø Participated in full-fledged drama staged during Annual day & Raja Milana of NALCO Community Centre & NALCO Club, Damanjodi. Few of them are Raktara Fula, Mansara Fula, Suna Pariksha Dandadhari, Goitha Baba, Gaan, Ajira Raja & Guest.
Ø Acted in T.V. Serial “GAYATRI” & film “SWAYAMSIDDHA”.
Besides all these awards and felicitations for outstanding contribution in the field of theatre I am associated with Ka – Kha - Ga, Damanjodi, a cultural organization which has made the state proud in the field of culture by producing play writers, directors and actors. Worked as secretary of Panchapatamali Natya Mahotsaba, Damanjodi from 2007 to 2008. Presently working as Office Secretary of Panchapatamali Natya Mahotsaba.
